Full Organizational Member
($100 annually)
  • Listed on GreenNet website with link to organization’s website

  • Full participation in meetings, workshops and seminars hosted by GreenNet

Associate Organizational Member
($50 annually)
This level is for organizations with an annual budget less than $100,000.

Individual Membership
($25 annually)
If you are not associated with an organization but want to be involved with GreenNet we offer an individual membership also.

  • One copy of Green Pages, Chicago’s Community Garden Resource Directory

Member Guidlelines
    GreenNet is an organization who’s goal is to efficiently allocate resources to community gardens and limit organizational overlap.
  • Members should be willing to share information concerning programs, participants and resource allotments with other member organizations.
  • Organization or Individual shares the mission of GreenNet to support community-managed greening including community gardening, urban agriculture, school gardening, urban open space and natural areas.
  • Active participation and support of GreenNet events, committees, or working groups by a representative of the organization.

Corporate Sponsors
    Corporations and Small Businesses are important partners of GreenNet. Our members work along many companies that not only supply necessary plants, equipment and materials but support our community building and greening goals. If you would like to support GreenNet as a sponsor, these are some opportunities that may be available:
  • Choose to sponsor or support GreenNet for a specific event or program
  • Donate materials or goods that can be redistributed to community gardens through our grants program or at GreenNet events
  • Sponsor gardens directly by providing financial resources which GreenNet will distribute through our Minigrants program

    Corporation support requests will be reviewed by GreenNet before donations are accepted to confirm that sponsorship relationships are appropriate and corporate goals match GreenNet and GreenNet member organization’s missions.
